QuickCopyMouse is an AutoHotkey script designed to remap the side buttons of any mouse that does not offer built-in software for button customization.
It provides a fast and convenient way to perform copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) actions directly from your mouse — perfect for users who want to boost efficiency without relying on keyboard shortcuts.

Main Functions

• Copy Action (Ctrl+C): The left side button is mapped to the copy function.
• Paste Action (Ctrl+V): The right side button is mapped to the paste function.

Usage

1. Running the Script: Place the .ahk or compiled .exe file anywhere (e.g., on a USB drive or desktop) and double-click to run it. No installation required.
2. Automatic Execution: To make it start automatically with Windows, create a shortcut to the .ahk or .exe file and place that shortcut in your Startup folder.

Program Setup

• Copy the AutoHotkey script to a preferred location.
• To enable automatic launch, add a shortcut (not the file itself) in the following directory:

  C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\
  

Example of Use

• Copy and Paste: Press the left side button to copy text, and the right side button to paste it wherever needed.

Compatibility

• Works on Windows 10 and 11.
• Compatible with any mouse that does not include configuration software (e.g., driverless or basic plug-and-play mice).

QuickCopyMouse est un script AutoHotkey conçu pour remapper les boutons latéraux de n’importe quelle souris ne disposant pas d’un logiciel de configuration intégré.
Il offre un moyen simple et rapide d’effectuer les actions copier (Ctrl+C) et coller (Ctrl+V) directement depuis votre souris — idéal pour gagner du temps sans utiliser les raccourcis clavier.

Fonctions principales

• Action de Copie (Ctrl+C) : Le bouton latéral gauche est assigné à la fonction de copie.
• Action de Collage (Ctrl+V) : Le bouton latéral droit est assigné à la fonction de collage.

Utilisation

1. Exécuter le Script : Placez le fichier .ahk ou le .exe compilé où vous le souhaitez (clé USB, bureau, etc.) et double-cliquez pour le lancer. Aucune installation n’est nécessaire.
2. Démarrage Automatique : Pour un lancement automatique à chaque démarrage, créez un raccourci du fichier .ahk ou .exe et placez ce raccourci dans le dossier de démarrage.

Configuration

• Copiez le script AutoHotkey dans l’emplacement de votre choix.
• Pour un lancement automatique, ajoutez un raccourci dans :

Exemple d'utilisation

• Copier et Coller : Appuyez sur le bouton latéral gauche pour copier du texte et sur le bouton latéral droit pour le coller où vous le souhaitez.
